Not just any campaign…M&S busts out the big guns for ads again, has an identity crisis

A hot, hunky Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley getting steamy…

No, not the next blockbuster superaction flick, the new Marks and Spencer ad.

We were confused when we saw these two as the new faces last season but it looks as though they are back and getting it on again.

The ultra-British chain hired an American star and shot in…Boston, MA…random much?

M&S is the home of comfie undies, pass-the-ready-meals-off-as-your-own dinners and moreish mini bites, so we’re not exactly sure what this new campaign is trying to do… but we are guessing it has something to do with believing that old adage that sex sells.

But Ff loves M&S for being the opposite of sex - that cashmere tracksuit set for cosy nights in and 3-4-2 knickers when you’re just not in the mood – enter mini bites.

So we reckon, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Although we can’t really complain about seeing Ryan Reynolds – ever… so cheers for that!

What do you think, does the new campaign inject a dose of much-needed glamour to M&S or do you think it just doesn’t fit the brand?

Thrown on some pixie-dust, add a dash of superhero power and mix in some Victoria’s Secret mojo and you get Rosie Huntington-Whiteley at the Elle style awards.

The model wore Antonio Berardi SS12 for the Savoy Hotel event.

FF is on the fence with this one…what do you think?

Angel: Miranda Kerr

Miranda Kerr looks like an Angel

You know how you try and make yourself feel better when you see a Victoria’s Secret model posing in her underwear?

You think things like ‘whatever, shes’s so airbrushed, she’s caked her make-up on with a paint-brush, anyone can look like that.’

Well it turns out, you’re wrong.

Victoria’s Secret models are stunning natural beauties and genetically blessed - as proven by these polaroids, taken by COACD casting director Douglas Perrett, who has published hundreds of shots taken between 2000 and 2010 for a new book called Wild Things.

Miranda Kerr, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Chanel Iman and Arizona Muse are just some of the models pictured for the project – wearing no make-up and looking flawless.

You can go ahead and kill yourself now. But first watch the cool trailer.

WTF moment: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley faced barrage of criticism over looks

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on the cover of Harper's Bazaar's Body Issue... split ends?

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on the cover of Harper's Bazaar's Body Issue… split ends?

Looking at Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on January’s Harper’s Bazaar it’s actually impossible to imagine finding even the tiniest flaw on her bod (though FF would love to get up close to check for split ends, at the very least). Apparently though, not everyone agrees. Poor RHW tells Bazaar that when she moved to the big bad US from her Devon hometown, she encountered a barrage of criticism.

‘All I kept hearing was, “honey, you gotta change this; your hair’s this; your legs are that; you’re not enough this; you’re not enough that; you’re too much this; why are you wearing that?”. It was a constant stream of judgement.’

Things are different in the UK though, RSW insists. ‘I have a different feeling when I come back to England; as soon as I touch down in Heathrow and drive into London and down to Devon, there’s a sense of home and belonging,’ she says. Phew. Given that Rosie’s not only the star of Bazaar’s Body issue but is also the face and figure of Burberry’s Body perfume, it is clear that us Brits are a bit more forgiving of such aesthetic imperfection… And that the sharp-tongued American critics need to clean their specs.
