She’s the face of Hugo Boss perfume, has her own lifestyle website Goop, a cook book and two kids – but that apparently isn’t enough to keep Gwyneth Paltrow busy.
The 40-year-old superwoman is also currently the star of the Max Factor ads.
The cosmetics company is releasing seven different versions of the campaign – all representative of Gwyn’s different personas.
First up is Gwyneth, ‘The Writer’, looking awesome as usual in simple jeans and blazer.
Gwyneth describes herself as ‘having a look that says confidence, creativity, but still very much who I am.’
Did we also mention she works out six times a week? *Suddenly feeling like underachievers*
We’ve all been there, a few glasses of wine down and we get all self-righteous about something that’s been bothering us. Most of us wouldn’t be afforded access to video chat on a national TV show to get things off our chest… But Gwyneth can! And you know what, she did too.
Gwyneth Skyping in to Rachael Roy (image via ABC news)
Froom her London kitchen, dressed in her pyjamas and waving a half-drink glass of wine around, she Skyped into Rachael Ray’s cookery show to defend herself against recent accusations that celebrity chefs (her included) have little or nothing to do with their cook books.
Ghosted, but still pure Gwynnie, she says
Gwyneth wasn’t one of those directly accused in the New York Timesof relying entirely on an other food writer to conceive, develop, write and test her recipes (though that was one of the accusations levelled at the celeb cook book market in general). But she was mentioned as someone who had a lot of help writing hers, and her picture was used on the story – and on all the subsequent coverage when other media organisations picked up the story. Guilty by association then.
So naturally Gwyneth, who swears blind she came up with all the recipes herself from her very London kitchen, was outraged – and called Rachael to tell her so. Here’s the vid – it makes us want to be Gwynnie’s pal… We’re with you, Gwyneth!
And yet, Gwyneth Paltrow has the sexy girl-next-door look nailed.
The mother-of-two is the star of the new Lindex campaign and after seeing her model the Modern Preppy collection, we want everything.
The actress, who recently revealed she spends an hour and a half in the gym five days a week (OMG), discusses her style, life in the spotlight and how she grew up wearing a uniform….
Check out the vid below for the 4-1-1.
In the meantime, we will be writing up a shopping list of items we would like from the Swedish High Street label.
Ff’s faves are orange chinos, funky bracelets and sequin tank top… Possibly all worn together.
Ff spends all year waiting with bated breath for the Oscars, so it’s only natural that we would a pang of disappointment once the moment has arrived (we are women after all).
This year provided little in the way of thrills (or spills) as most stars stuck with neutrals and monochrome. Not even Kelly Osbourne looked all that bad.
But as we like to see the glass half full, we would like to thank Gwyneth Paltrow for her choice of dress.
She gave us a sneak peak into Tom Ford’s super secret collection after the Texan designer banned all photography at his show earlier this month – leaving everyone but a select few in the dark.
We are told Gwyn’s white column frock is hot off the Winter 2012 catwalk and was Ford’s finale gown.
It’s so nifty, it even comes with a detachable cape.
That’s it, we are ordering everything Tracy Anderson, like now..
The personal trainer is responsible for turning Gwyneth Paltrow into this and we want in on the action!
The actress features on the cover of the re-designed March issue of Harper’s Bazaar and is so hot – editor in chief Glenda Bailey doesn’t even think we need to see her face!
The Goop founder is rocking an Anthony Vaccarello dress and shoes by Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci and was shot by Terry Richardson.
The mag’s new look is an attempt to catch up with top three performers (in terms of ad space) Vogue, In Style and Elle.
Ff says job well done – Whatever Gwyn’s selling, with that bod, we’re buying!
All American girl: Gwyneth Paltrow models for Coach
Since Grace Kelly, there has been no better All American Girl than Gwyneth Paltrow.
So it comes as no surprise the Goop guru has been chosen to front another campaign for Coach.
Shot by Peter Lindbergh in New York, the images capture Gwyneth modelling the U.S brand’s handbags and appearing effortlessly cool – a look that comes quite naturally to Gwyn, we assume.
Coach’s senior vice president Jason Weisenfeld said: ‘Our Spring 2012 collection is all about the enduring spirit and style of New York City so who better to represent that than Gwyneth. As a brilliantly talented actress, innovative businesswoman, global style icon and dedicated mother, she really has it all.’
