Alice brings her unique brand of devil-may-care cool to the trad pearls and tweeds – and the combination is killer.

Check out the new campaign video for Chanel’s Boy bag starring Alice Dellal.

The voyeuristic film may not have a plot per se but hey, it’s French so it doesn’t really need one.

Instead we get a mere glimpse into the life of a seemingly ordinary girl at home.

We love Alice, the music, the interiors, the cinematography, the je ne sais quoi (literally)

Is it weird that we kind of think the handbags detract from the whole thing?

The model has just been announced as the new face of Chanel’s new it-bag, Boy.

Shooting for Karl (literally) is striking sartorial gold… where will she go from here?

To top it off, the Chanel creative director is full of praise for Alice, calling her charismatic and unique.

A Chanel spokesperson said: ‘Karl Lagerfeld had a crush on this unique, charismatic young lady, who is both a model and musician, during a photo shoot several months ago. This previously unforeseen alliance finally became self-evident. Alice Dellal represents the perfect incarnation of all that is unique about the Boy Chanel handbag collection, which strives to be far from conformist notions of femininity.’

Jealous!? Us?!.. Well, yeah.
