NOT banned: Agent Provocateur’s ‘misogynistic and disturbing’ ad

Agent Provocateur must be very grateful to the Advertising Standards Authority right now.

Not only did they cause controversy (always a good thing) by banning AP’s last ad (after receiving one complaint), they have now decreed it inoffensive after all – attracting thousands more viewers who want to know what all the fuss was about.

On top of that, AP are RIGHT in the middle of unveiling their extremely sexy new campaign, starring Mylene Jampanoi.

Last time the ASA did this with the Kylie bucking bronco vid, it got 360m hits on YouTube…

You just can’t buy publicity like that!

See the video, inspired by 1950′s Hammer House of Horror movies, for yourself…offensive? Creepy? Or pretty hot?

53-year-old gone wild: Madonna unveils cover of her new single

Love how Madonna refers to herself as a ‘girl’ on the cover of her latest single.

Sure, she may have the bod of a 20-year-old but who is she kidding? She’s seven years away from her free bus pass.

Love the Agent Provocateur lingerie though.

Their new video, called ‘The Initiate’ is so hot, you need to be over 18 to view it on YouTube.

If this doesn’t get you in the mood for a night in, nothing will…

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Mylene Jampanoi for Agent Provocateur. Why we dig French chicks

Agent Provocateur this week unveiled the new face of the lingerie brand.

Introducing Mylene Jampanoi – she’s half-French, half-Chinese.

But more importantly, she is stunning with a smoking hot bod.

The actress is already a big name on the other side of the Channel and has starred in films such as Gainsbourg and Hereafter.

So it’s no surprise AP have snapped her up for this soft-focus Emanuelle-style campaign.

We love the new style and that AP is bringing something softer and more subtle to the table.

It was shot by Jordan Scott (offspring of Ridley). Watch this space for a new generation of great directing!

And Ff readers are in for a treat as we have also stumbled on some juicy behind-the-scenes gossip.

An insider told Ff: ‘Shooting those poor women outdoors/indoors at Chiswick House Conservatory at the beginning of November meant many heaters needed to be deployed to keep them from looking like plucked turkeys.

‘Oh and they needed keen PA’s with thermals and blankets……cue a great deal of ‘charitable’ young men offering their services.

‘And we learnt how one approaches the delicate matter of gusset management – with kid gloves. Thank God for stylists with no scruples!

‘Another difficult straight to navigate is eye-line; there is a fine balance in keeping your eye on the ball (so to speak) and oogling the ball.

‘In keeping with the throwback to the 70’s and a vintage feel to the films, we embraced old techniques with cameras including using silk stocking over the lense.’

It definitely worked!
