Kylie/Fashion: Pop star releases new book charting 25 years of sartorial success

When Ff was younger, Kylie Minogue was often the outfit inspiration behind many a night on the town.

There were the black leather trousers and halterneck from the Kids video, the white hooded catsuit from Can’t Get You out of My Head and of course, the gold hotpants from Spinning Around.

We may not have achieved the same degree of sartorial success as Kylie – ok, any of the same degree – but hell, that didn’t stop us from trying!

So it comes as no surprise the pint-sized pop star is releasing a new book, charting 25 years of fashion success.

Curated by William Baker, Kylie’s acclaimed creative director, and introduced by Jean Paul Gaultier, the hardback also features specially written texts by Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Louboutin, Julien Macdonald, Stella McCartney and Laudomia Pucci.

Kylie herself supplies additional commentary and an afterword.

The 44-year-old singer said: ‘It makes me very proud to see gathered together all the great designers and houses I’ve worked with over the years.

‘Looking through my personal archives has been a real trip down memory lane and it is the fashion that brings back moments and memories of the last twenty-five years.’

Yup, add it to our Christmas wish list please Santa…

Kylie/Fashion, £28, will go on sale on November 19th and is published by Thames & Hudson
