It’s not the first time Kate Moss has turned designer (thank you Topshop), but it’s the first time the superdupermodel has ever created something like this.

Kate has created jockey silks for her model friend, Rosemary Ferguson, to wear in the Charity Ladies Day Race  - aka the second Magnolia Cup race at Glorious Goodwood on 2 August. Rosemary will be racing against fellow model Edie Campbell – who has had Vivienne Westwood design her silks. Without wanting to seem too facile about the whole affair, are we right in thinking horseracing (which let’s face it, can be all a bit panting male jockeys, sweating flanks and tote staff with soh failure) just got a whole lot more fun?
