SEMI-D.E.T.O.X

Some of ff have been going a little crazy and over indulging in yummy cocktails all over London these past few months – research for the job of course…So for the sake of our achy bodies we have decided that for a short period (let’s say up to a week) we will be retiring from the delicious juice and sticking to aqua in the meantime.

But, before we do that, here’s another great find we discovered on one of recent crawls: The Zetter Townhouse’s Cocktail Lounge, which is an exciting collaboration between The Zetter, chef Bruno Loubet and the creators of the award winning 69 Colebrooke Row, Tony Conigliaro and Camille Hobby Limon.

A discreet entrance leads you into this quirky, eccentric townhouse cocktail lounge, where a man with a trendy moustache greets you as you walk in and leads you to comfy mismatched seats that actually work well in a bizarre way. It’s not your regular minimal hotel cocktail bar in fact quite the opposite, the place is full of random objects, cats, mini chandeliers etc you immediately feel like you’ve you’ve walked into an eccentric aunt or uncles home and ff like it a lot. We’ve heard about this place and are a little intrigued to see if the cocktails match the reputation. As our internal organs are in dire need of vitamins and energy hair of the dog after a extremely heavy weekend or more appropriately many months of fabulous soirees they order an Espresso and a Bloody Mary both of which are extremely good and the perfect end to the start of their abstinence. The bill arrives in a book which adds to it’s quirkiness and we love, love, love it! This place has a hint of Dean St Townhouse about it but agree it’s little more alternative…we defo want to come back here and sample more when we have recovered!!
