Spare £3,000? This is what we would spend it on this month. San Francisco designer Tracey Kessler has created some rustic-looking cage lights inspired by a some tangled old metal wire and old construction workers’ lamps she spotted at a salvage yard. The star confesses that she used henna to dye her blonde her brown for an audition a year ago, thinking that because it was a natural product, the effect would be easy to reverse. The Duchess of Cambridge shone again at a private event at Claridge’s hotel last night. Accompanying Prince William, Kate turned heads in a long cream gown by RM by Roland Mouret. The dress is from the label’s 2009 collection – and Kate was no doubt visiting her favourite discount stores track it down. Ff loves a good bargain. Three cheers for Riccardo Tisci, who sent out an army of fembots celebs to model his divine dresses at the Met Ball last night. The glamorous event, celebrating Prada and Schiaparelli this year, was a litany of who’s who in fashion, Hollywood and New York Elite.
